I know there have been posts about this before, but none of them answer my question.

I record with Garage band and Pro Tools Mp, so I'm pretty sure that the programs I use are not the problem. My guitar always sounds very blurry and there's a fuzzy sound in the background, but my voice records as clear as day! I have M-Audio as my digital interface. Please help.

This is my first time posting so I don't know if I'm suppling enough info. Ask if you need more.

What level are you recording your guitar at?

How are you recording your guitar - tell us the equipment involved in the signal chain? (ie. guitar - amp - mic - interface - daw) or whatever...

I am using a Gretsch Electromatic with an M-Audio recording interface. I am using " The Complete Desktop Recording Studio with Mac Mini", if you want to see my whole set up, just look it up.

And if you want help, don't tell me to look stuff up.... someone else may care to help you from hereon... my best guess is you're recording too hot. Good luck..

Yeah, Noah, Armistice asked a very explicit question. There could be a great number of things that could contribute to your problem. DO NOT just tell us to look something up and then guess at the very little amount of information.

Turns out I got buzzing because my mic required more gain than I gave it. When I got a low signal, I boosted it with a compressor and the buzzing started becoming audible.

Noah, if you build up your post count to 15(i think), you'll be able to post us a link.

Noah, if you'll just give this thread a bump, we'll know you're still alive and want help!

Are you still out there, brother Noah ?

, if you want to see my whole set up, just look it up.
Why ?
No one asked for your entire set up. But you did ask for help so in order to do what you say that you want, it would help if you answered specific requests so that you can be helped. You did, after all, say
I don't know if I'm supplying enough info. Ask if you need more.
and you didn't supply enough info and Armistice did need more and did ask.
