Trident - MTA Series 924 Console (serial # 00001)
This is the complete project solution. The Series 924 is the smallest...
full 24 bus console
...in existence! Other amazing features include 4 band signature sweep EQ per channel and 8 aux channels with muting.
This console is an inline type with not only 24 monitoring channels inline with the main channels, but with 24 busses inline with the main and monitoring channels as well. It also has the capability of 48 channels at mixdown.
The Trident-MTA Series 924 has the same microphone preamps and EQ as the Trident-MTA 980 and 990 consoles which are some VERY expensive and large consoles.

Here's this particular 924's history:
This particular 924 was completed in September of 1999. Being that it is serial # 00001, it was shipped to Alan Hyatt of PMI Audio (the US distributor for Joe Meek; who owned Trident-MTA at the time) for demoing here in the US. In the year 2000, it went to two trade shows (one in Nashville and the other in Los Angeles); going to and from the trade shows is where the console got it's bumps and bruises from the shipping crate (which really isn't much of anything). It then sat in its crate at PMI Audio until I contacted Alan back in January of 2001.
I then found-out that Joe Meek decided to discontinue the 924, but Alan had this demo 924 for sale that he was just about to start advertising on the PMI Audio website. So, I bought this 924 at the end of January. I drove down from Sacramento, CA to Torrance, CA and picked it up! I then used it for no more than a week all together until the end of May.
So, I'd imagine you're wondering why I am selling it then... Well I am now lucky enough to now be in the position to move the next step-up from the 924, so I am having a console custom built.
Fully tested by Audio Images in San Francisco, California on May 26, 2001 to ensure "brand new" specs. and audio quality. You can contact Sidney Wilson at Audio Images if you'd like as he was the one who tested it.
No longer in production as of about 1 year ago, but STREET price was $14,000 new! I am asking $7800 USD. That's almost half-price! And considering how much use it's gotten, it really is a steal!
MUST be sold by the end of the year!

And here is some more information for you to chew-on:

Please realize the Trident-MTA Signature Two is actually 2 Channels taken directly from the Series 924 Console.
Of course, don't forget the review of the Signature Two AND the Series 924 itself on their website!
Well, just something more for you to consider as this is a great console to consider if you're thinking about replacing your Mackie 8-Bus or Soundcraft Ghost with the next step up. And you can do it without having to worry if a few channels are bad or spending money and/or time replacing all those old leaky capacitors as you would with an old used console.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To be straight forward, it's a very nice sounding console for a more than fair price! So please, at least simply seriously consider this console as I don't think anyone will be disappointed with it!
Thank You simply for your time if you've read all this!
