MXL V77 - good condition - comes with power supply, 7 pin cable, mic cable. I think I still have the original shock mount but it may need new bands.
$250 shipped

AKG C 535 EB Vocal Condenser mics - TWO available.

Rough shape overall but still sound good. One grill looks to be rather dented in comparison, but oddly enough it's still circular so without looking at the other mic it doesn't seem dented (if that makes sense).
$90 for the dented one (shipped)
$100 for the other (shipped)

Gaines Audio MP1 mic pre

-Not much info on this mic pre, but that's what keeps the price down! This pre sounds really really good (think Rane MS-1b on steroids). Fast, clean, but not sterile. It has a reichenbach transformer. No phantom power, but it has a pad which can be useful. I liked it so much I bought four channels for drums. Awesome sound with dynamic mics. I can't think of a better value in preamps.
It's rather heavy for it's size and feels like it could be run over by a truck without issue.
Previous owner removed one of the prongs on the power cord for some reason that i can't remember, but it's never had a negative effect while I've used it over the past year.
$90 shipped

What a great price for that 77 , I can't believe your letting that one go.

"Previous owner removed one of the prongs on the power cord for some reason that i can't remember"

He cut off the grounding plug so he could plug it into a non-grounded (two-prong) socket. That happens a LOT.

i wish there were more info on the mp1 :(

or audio examples, with a re20 or something...

looks pretty neat :D

Gaines Audio MP1 has been sold.

Hurry and buy the others before I change my mind!

One AKG535 left. Slight dented, $90 shipped. Comes with hard case, too!

...hasn't anybody told you yet, that the V77 is a "keeper" mic?...two-hundred and fifty bucks will come and go...but a V77?...;)

Wow - I already have the Gaines MP1 Preamp in my hands!

It is indeed a ruggedly built unit -- very simple circuit inside, with a neat-o input transformer, based around a socketed NE5532 opamp ( http://extra.benchmarkmedia.com/wiki/index.php/NE5532_Opamp - interesting perspective on it here -- and in whatever circuit / unit they're talking about, that guy's saying to *not* substitute an OPA2134 for it, which is exactly what I was planning to do :o)

Can't wait to see how it sounds.

Thanks again mrbowes!!!
