Happy 4th! Homerecorders,
I'm selling my lightly used Fostex MR-8HD - This unit looks excellent and functions perfectly. This is not the MR-8 but the much improved MR-8HD/CD with 4 track simultaneous recording, 4 mic pre's, a 40GB HD, and a built in CD drive for burning/archiving. It is about 2 years old and has been used on and off at home to track drums. I bought it because it was the only digital stand-alone 8 track that could record 4 tracks simultaneously. I am really impressed with the sound of the pre's and converters on this unit. It can also import and transfer .wavs to and from your DAW using the Fostex Wavmanager software (free download from the Fostex site.) The sale includes the recorder and original power cable. The manual is available as a .pdf download from Fostex's website. These go for $399 new at all the major venders, I'm asking $130 shipped or 120 picked up locally in Wicker Park, Chicago.
