FS: Alesis DM5 Electronic Drum Kit.

I bought this set about 4 or 5 months ago or so. Works great, just running out of room around here and I've been recently playing with a Drummer friend so I no longer really have a need for them. When the orginal package arrived it was short 1 cable so there is one cable for the pads that doesn't match the others, no biggie, but it's included.

5 pads
2 "cymbal" pads
hi-hat pedal
bass pedal for bass pad
DM5 unit and power adapter
tube style rack with all adapters and wingnut screws

I have most of the orginal packaging which I will ship it in. It's kinda heavy but I'll split real shipping with the buyer. I haven't a quote on shipping but I'd be more than happy to scan and email a copy of the shipping receipt if you wish. I'm on the good guy list as a buyer, I've only sold one thing on here before and I don't think the guy posted on the goodguy post, but it was a smooth transaction. My ebay feedback is 98% with 160+ positive feedback. Note* I've never SOLD anything on ebay though. Just a few incidents with a few sellers that tried to change things around after the auction ended.

I'm looking for around $425.00 or so and split 50/50 shipping with the buyer, but I'll entertain offers as well.

Man...I've been looking for a used electronic set for a while and finally gave up. Now I don't have the funds. Damn you!!! :p

Since you own this, maybe you could answer a question for me (since Alesis apparently doesn't have customer service) - is it possible to add another pad or two to this set...like adding another rack tom and cymbal? Thanks. Good luck with the sale. :)

Yessir, it's got 12 trigger inputs and 1 footswitch in.
 
375 is a good price for said unit.

especially when a DM5 goes for what, $200 alone used..

looks a like a steal, i'd grab it if i didnt already have one.
 
I've never really heard much recorded music with electronic drums (or at least tried to pay attention to figure it out.. well except for the cheesy obvious crap). Anyone care to show me a clip?

all DFH superior drums. i really didnt finish with it. i wanted to retrack all the guitars, and i forgot to pan the hihats, so they are dead center :)

Yeah, that's not too bad, but I feel like there isn't as much control as youd have with acoustic drums. I think I'll stick with what I know. Thanks for the sound anyway!
 
I really have no idea, the box with everything in it is pretty heavy. If I get a chance this week I'll box it up and see if I can get an estimate.

No, that's fine. I most likely won't buy it. (Was just looking around in a few places.)
 
If you still have this in say, two weeks, I'll probably buy it off of you. :)

Though, does the triggering on it seem okay to you? I've heard that the triggering sucks on the DM 5 and pro.
