i have recently started playing about with fruityloops 4 im totally new at it, my question is i can make beats and put them in a play list but how can i move them into my other sequncer? do i have to mix down to a wav file then import always? or is there anyway to patch the tracks through so they all have an individual track? i am using guitar tracks pro 2. thx :)

hey,

yeah i think that's the only way to do it (mixing down to wav. and importing that is). thats the way i do it with cool edit pro anyway, but if anyone wants to prove me wrong, go ahead (I'm a bit of a beginner too).

not much help sorry, but there you go

Nah, exporting as a wav and importing again IS the way to do it. Make sure you set the bpm’s the same so you can edit the drumtrack. If you want separate tracks for kick, snare etc. you’re gonna have to export them as separate wavs of course.

thanks for the replys guys! ;) i have been told on another forum the best way to do it is to send each drum track through fruity loops mixer then export then all separately then import then separately into gt pro. i think thats what layne is saying also :D

floops/midi/korg

Hello-

does anyone know off hand, if I can take drum samples from fruity loops and export them via MIDI into my korg analog sequencer?

if anyone has done something like this or this exactly, could you please give me an idea as to how you proceed?

thanks

....isnt there an export for midi also? i think theres also a screen that pops up at the beginning that can direct you to the use of its midi. if you cant find the screen then try clicking on the flstudio icon again so it'll open up a second flstudio and then the screen should pop up......i've never been able to use midi so i gave up on it....still dont understand it that well but thats what i know.
