Fruityloops: How to change time signature PER pattern?

Hi,

My question is simple.

How can I make fruityloops change the time signature for 1 pattern only?

If the "project" setting is 4/4, how can I adress 3/4 & 5/4 to only one of the patterns?

You need FL Studio to do such a task:

If you have it, you can select the beats per measure in the top left window of the step sequencer (click and drag on the graw box)

Look into using the piano roll for more versatile programming options

Opening Fruityloops through Sonar

Is it possible to load Fruityloops through Sonar so I can have the audio tracks playing along with the drums from fruityloops?

I would like to have the drums playing with the audio tracks at the same time so I can adjust the different drum instrument volume levels which are on Fruityloops
 
quick answer.... no. FL would have to be a plugin. BUT you can use a sampler, such as the FLP sampler included in FL. These are usually VST plugins and i believe sonar will use them. You load them up the way you would any soft synth, and then load your samples into it. hope that helps
