Fruity loops good or bad

I want so comments about the fruity program. Is it good to purchase this or is it bad? Give me some feed back please.

You are probably going to hear both...

That's a very personal opinion type of thing. I would say it has it's applications just like everything else out there. I've never used it. I wouldn't know the first thing about it. But I understand some use it for drum tracks with great success.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't it come with a shitload of CD's with samples on them of everything under the sun so you can put together your own songs, or something like that? More of a hip-hop/rap tool than anything else? I don't know, that's why I am asking...

Anything that makes noise of some sort can be useful to a musician who wants to put in the time to learn how to make it do what they want.

very very powerful program when you learn to use it. A lot of people knock it because they dont know how much it really has in it. Warbeats.com does so many video totorials all on fl studio. Check them out and you will see if the program is for you.

it depends what you want to use it for. I've made ambient songs with included vsts and synth pads and such. It also had a good pattern sequencer for making beats. It's more directed at midi and samples for making beats, but I'm pretty sure you can record audio with it-- which I think i'd stick to a better program like cubase logic or reaper.
