I have been having mad computer problems..

I'll be back in a day or two.. :(

mkg - thanks! A buddy of mine says that I don't wrote them as good as that anymore.. nice to hear someone thinks there's some progress.. After hearing all the other old jams from people, I figured I'd slap it up.. I'll be checking out your others soon..

Track Rat - Yeah just call me Mr. Original! :D  Jim's pissed.. At least I changed it from 'Weird scenes inside the goldmine.'
You know those guitar players that are all effects, and they're nothing when you hear them play clean??? I am one of them.. :D thanks senor Rat..

Stratomaster - I am still blown away when I think about that thing we talked about the last time.. :D No E-Bow in these though.. I guess you listened to part of 'on the end.' The end is probably the best part.. if there was one... but now that I think about it, there isn't.. For the vocals on these old tunes, I sang through a guitar processor.. The vocal processor I use now is the Digitech Vocal 300. Drop me a p.m. anytime man.. thanks

Triple M - cool.. these were recorded around '93 ish.. I thought about redoing them and I tried a few times, but something was lost, even though the sound quality was better, I couldn't get the performance end down.. I have been thinking about trying again though. Yeah I was listening to a lot of Ozzy! :D thanks for bothering Trip!

Fed - :D some people say that's the best tune I ever did.. Man I hope not.. No auto -tune.. Just a billion takes.. I was singing through a guitar processor too.. thanks for checkin' it out Fed! I'm trying to get out from the dark side, but my apartment only has one window.... and it's filthy! :D :(

fenderlikingood - just another example of how some history is bad.. :D Thanks for humoring me! I don't think you have ever missed a tune! :)

theron - hey bud.. I still have the reels for these tunes.. Maybe one day I can remix them properly.. This is how I was recording before all the precious feedback from here.. I wish I could remix them now.. I'll be talking to ya through an email shortly.. thanks for tolerating..

chrisharris - thanks man.. I'm not going to post anymore of this stuff though.. Too much new stuff to annoy people with.. :D I am suprised you caught some of the lyrics.. BTW, What edit are you talking about?!?

boydrj - thanks for checkin em both out.. Maybe one day I can remix them.. I tried to redo them, but something gets lost in the translation.. All the bass, guitar, and vocals were done through a guitar processor on these.. appreciate the time man..

Kramer - I guess you caught a few lyrics.. The first line to that tune is, 'take a look at that girl on the end, she's probably abused by her man.' Believe it or not, this was a half ass attempt at a love song back then! :D No wonder I'm still single.. :D :( thanks for bothering Krame!

crawdad - thanks man.. I hope one day I'll be able to make these sound better.. There are parts that I have never been able to reproduce.. The guitar work is all effects... Without them, I'm nothing.. :D thanks crawdaddyo! I'll be checking out your latest shortly.. lookin' forward to it.. 1966
:D

jamal buchet - :D cool reply.. I'll assume you listened to 'graveyard'? I assigned a crazy pitch shift to the expression pedal.. The resulting sound is only 2 different notes I'm actually playing on the guitar.. I stink without effects, but with them, even I can sound halfway legit.. The other solos were delay and volume pedal..

Flash - thanks for trying man.. Hope you can gear them without the breaking up.. Don't feel bad if you don't, you are not missing much..

Scott Tansley - Man I would love to collaborate with you... I will send you a p.m. later.. thanks for checking them out man..

Riku - thanks Riku, yeah I took a little acid back in the day.. :D thanks for the comments man..

uh... ahEM...

It's cool, Sam. Prolly when you were scrolling back thru this thread, you saw boydrj's second reply, and after that followed Kramer. King Elvis' and my response were prolly just missed :)

Chad

LMAO!Here we go again!:DKidding.Im sure he just skipped the posts without noticing them.Your post and KE's post were sandwiched between 2 of boydrj's post so thats probably why he missed you.

He replied to 15 people!Thats why I usally try to reply to every 3 or 4 posts so I can keep up when I post a song.(which has been rare, but we are working on a lot of stuff right now!)

I can sympathize a little with those who dont have a lot of time to post here. The last couple of days we've recorded 12 hours and it's hard to make it to the board and post, and we shoot the shit for another 2 hours when we're through recording for the day.Not enough time in the day.:)

Yeah, I know ;) In light of recent posts, I was trying to be funny :) (Realizing the posts got sandwiched)

Chad  :D

phew....lots to listen to lately. I did listen the other day..but joined a band and quit them the next day after thinking about it over 24 hours. I recognize the tape hiss!!....neat stuff. I can "hear" the 'younger' lyrics coming out of you. "I think I have some friends here...."

Hey Sam,
Man, you guys and your golden oldies......... .......You guys keep this shit up and im gonna put up some old glam shit from the 80's thats guaranteed to make you hurl:D :D :D

........This is actually worth re recording man. I like this alot....great song! A samicide classic. Metalically surreal......
Even the synth sounds that youre downplaying dont sound that bad, but i know with your new gear and the knowledge that has come with it you could grease that shit up nice .......maybe a little distortion on that bass lick at around :58, and 1:58. I dig the e-bow/vol.knob stuff......COOL .......and hows about that chunkin at around 4:15 and the screaming proceeding it......yea baby........ Cool stuff my brotha G

Damn this is good...especially Graveyard. Man that tune blows me away. How long ago did you do this? You already have your style well developed....it sounds like no one else. The recording quality is very good...especially for those old tape machines. really great Sam. :)

Its cool, me and Sam is tite so if he skipped me Ill keep it on the down low!!!

bling bling
da King of Rock there is none higher, sucker MC's they call me sire!!

Cool stuff Sam!
The recordings are very big,and nice and clean, especially for tape.
Man your really and old hand at this!

Got any more?

Best to you,
Pete
