orange is definately a cooler color than green. can't go wrong with orange.
 
thats funny, i was gonna buy a pair in august, but i decided against it because i bought all sorts of other crap.

still on my to-buy-list.

maybe mommy and daddy will buy me a pair for christmas! i cant buy anything, i just bought a new computer, ram upgrade, and a 19" widescreen monitor...

i'm it the hole for $1700 now (gasp)... if my old comp sells on ebay, i'll be ok!
 
I got my mics today....they are TINY!!! It took me a while to fine a clip to hold them but my MK-012 clips hold them PERFECTLY.

I wanted to record something with them so I grabbed my ever so cheap Ibanez PF5....(stop laughin guys)....anyway...I played through a min or so of a Creed song....no...not cuz I like Creed....but I do like Tremonti.....
anyway...I used both mics and just added a little reverb. I think they sound great for the limited processing that was done.....

MSH...If you have any Free components that you are willing to give away I would be more than happy to take them off of your hands....

as you know I am also a fellow DIYer but on a Pretty Tight budget so anything extra you have would be of great benefit to me....

agreed. and orange crunch is a great name.
 
i want to try to build a mic..

i've been researching all day. i cant find a simple schematic for a SDC, either omni or uni or otherwise..

i find all sorts of tube schemo's, all sorts of complicated stuff. i just want to build a simple stinking mic!

MSH- any resources you can point me to?

i like prodigy-pro forum, but its advanced..
 
There's plenty of info right here. Probably most of it is in the mic thread. Search for posts by Minion and Mshilarios. Also do a search for tapeop mic.

No, they are dirtyp's, after that I will work my way down the thread but I must warn that I don't anticipate having any more demos since I don't have much under development right now, but it's not impossible either . . .
