ms, have you considered taking out even the smallest ad in one of the audio mags? You'd likely get a product review out of it, and therefor more business. Just wondering.

I need to be careful about how much business I generate. There is a limit to what I can produce, and I'd pretty much hit it in August. That whole month was a blur of microphone production :o

Things are calmer now. I just started doing Google Adwords, in fact my ads are supposed to be on this site, but I don't even see any ads of any type  Also on PSW. So far I've gotten 6 clickthroughs and I think one sale and it only cost me about a buck :)

Well, for what it's worth

hopefully this winter I'll start to have a little more time to maybe do something fun, in which case I'll probably get most of your line (hey, the price is right) just for fun and to see what I can learn about types and placement. I'll have to get creative as I don't have any drums. Yet. ;)

That's OK, though. I love sound effects.

Now if you'd just do a wireless shotgun...

:D

I got nuthin, Absolutely nuthing.....Guess when i see a thread entitled "Free Stuff" i should Go straight to the nearest field and find a Big Mouthed Gift horse that i can peer into.

Well, I do need a clever name for the MSH-5, and "Green Bullet" is taken, even though mine is much more bullet-shaped :(

That would infringe on the slogan I've been trying to sell to Prep H for years:

Preparation H: The soothing silver bullet you shoot up your butt :D

No, but it will be the chrome connector with a green boot and a green ring . . . you know, I don't really like the green they used, it's too dark. Maybe I'll go orange instead

Also comes with trademark baggage.

I think I like "Orange Crunch" . . .

Or shall I say Orange Crunch™ ;)

hah right on-- you're a legitimate business and all.
"greenies" are the major league baseball euphemism for the amphetamines that teams used to provide for their players somewhat on the sly-- i doubt that they trademarked the name :)
also how about one of them clever word plays for orange like "aurange"
does crunch describe the sonic characteristics of the 5 at all?

As I said above:

me said:
It will be bandwidth limited response combined with a distortion circuit, all in a Neutrik connector.

OK this thread is drifting from free stuff to sleazy marketing

So, back to free stuff--sorry, no mics this time, but I do need to clean house of some components I am not using. Tax writeoffs and all y'know.

I have:

Pana 1% metal film resistors, quantities approximate:

330Ω (900)
470Ω (150)
7.5KΩ (100)
22KΩ (200)

Other stuff:

18V Zeners (10)
I may have a large quantity of 12V Zeners available too, pending a design change . . .
2N5089 BJTs (like 400 . . . oh, that was an embarassing failure :o )
LM555 (20)

Also if anybody uses 16mm 100K or 10K log pots, I've been selling those cheap on eBay to get rid of 'em . . . I think I have 70 left each at $1.65 . . . I'll sell for $1.25 each here :o I also have the black & silver Boss-style effects knobs that fit those pots, I think I have 25 of those, $0.25 each.
