I won 3 sets of Dean Markley.

Their Helix Line.

I got a bass set, acoustic guitar and electric.

The 1st thing I've ever won off a internet drawing.

And you probalby only need to put up with a few dozen more spam emails every week, too. Are Dean M strings any good? Never tried them.
 
I used them for years and then I grew up and realized brand loyalty is illogical. They don't break easily and don't sound dull. But, there's nothing specifically groovy about them either.
 
I'm not loyal to any brand. But I do like the Martin strings for my 12.

I just tried out the new Slinky Kolbalt's, put 'em on my epi les paul and my Breedlove they'er ok. a little bright.

The musicians gear bass strings are on my bass now. sound decent to me, been on for a few months.

I buy what ever is on sale.
