I downloaded it (and the player), but now I gotta get right with their copy protection scheme - sigh - I'll probably give up again. Tried to get them to send
the Kore Player download link to the email address I used to set up an account with them last year, but they quietly didn't send - tried a new address and got the link right away, but now I'm worried about the activation key clashing with the account I have.
I bought Battery 1 and 2 from Mr. Bowes here on the board, created an account with Native Instruments (as mentioned above), and he let them know to transfer the licenses over to me, but their various installation checks (especially as they evolved from Battery 1, where I had to start, due to the upgrade path, through to Battery 2) managed to get so wrapped around the axle that I just gave up. I forgot how screwed up my computer got from that until just now, when I tried to start up the "Service Center". *Big* turn off - I'll probably have give up on this free plugin, too, just because of the crazy stuff they've done to my computer.
Anyway, enuff bitchn' -- hopefully this all works for someone who hasn't tried to use their stuff before

- just be warned that this plugin may turn out not to be "free" if you count the time it takes to set up their empire of controls on your computer (but maybe it'll be different for you - hope so)
edit: messed with it some more and got it working - nice! I also sent NI a message to see if they can help me with my other problem, which, admittedly, I don't think I ever did before. So I'll shut up now
