free guitar software?

Is there any free guitar amp simulator software or anything like that? I want to be able to plug my guitar into my audio interface and just play different guitar sounds through my computer...if that is possible for free

Do a search at http://www.kvraudio.com and you should be able to find something that is cheap, if not free.

Also, check into the Amplitube stuff. There's probably some threads about it here if you search around a bit.

Amplitube has smaller version for 80 bucks. than you can upgrade. Its pretty good.
