Ugh...this really aint gonna do it, this doesn't sound like anything real professional, I dont dig it
 
I like the song, but the vocal sounds flat. It's also a little low and during the chorus the bass over takes it. The vocals need some life.. like a little verb...

Just my 2 pennies...
 
I agree with Demi...the bass is killing the vocals.

The vocals are dead and lack creativity....the song gets monotone, flat, and boring. Cut the bass down a few notches. I saw where you tried to hype up the hook some Knothead, but the vocals were kicking it back down.

In all honesty, I don't think dude can sing at all. Not sure if it was the lyrics he picked or what but it just dragged on and never got to a high point. I won't even say add more to the mix simply because I don't think it would help...the lyrics just aren't catchy or interesting.

Come on fiev give the guy a break... you know autotune and melodyn are beautiful tools for tuning problems. I've listened to some of the other songs on b's page with this guy singing. He's got good ideas, but his tuning is off... maybe he was unable to hear himself during the recording. Singers are a special bunch they are real high maintenance...

Knothead knows that I'm hard but fair...he knows I do it because I want to see progress.
 
im only talking about the "song" itself . . not the mix or the technical parts of the production . . . the "its killing me . . so deep inside . . " thats really catchy . . . adn teh back ups to the lines are good . . . they make me wanna listen again . ..

i dont think there is "enough" lyrics in there though . . . around 2 minutes in and its just music and occasional background vocals repeatin .. . . i REALLY think there needs to be more singing [or day i say . . a rapper - :>] takin up that area . . .

of course i am not heavy into rnb - but what i do like about rnb is GOOD VOICE nad GOOD LLYRICS or at least a real catchy delivery of the notes . . .
 
yeah Gully we are talking about adding another verse..since i just through so background vocals in ther to take care of the space... its funny you said a rapper..caise i was thinking the same thing.. we will look at it this week to see what we going to do with it ...
