Blue Bear- corrected the link, thanx for listening.
dtb- Fun, you bet. I'll be over on Weds nite. Thx.
jamal- if you read the fine print, it says about 8 hours to record, and maybe 8 hours to mix. It's 1.5 that got me motivated to begin with, but the session went much longer than that. This song is supposed to have lots of feeling. Some parts are a little dissonant, and that's okay. I'll save the slick version for the remake. Thanx.
Guernica- Yeah man, it's a way cool fun cover from the 70's. Notice I put the cymbal hit on every 8th count? That's drum-nazi-like, isn't it?

Thanx.
Lt. Bob- Yeah man, cool. I really had fun doing this one, that's for darn sure. I do it all for fun, it's true, and no one can take that away from me. I was going for a full bodied bass sound on this one. I could possibly do a remix or a little tidying up of the basic tracks, as yet tbd. I already began rerecording some tracks on this one, because there are some flaws I want to address, but I think I fucked it up by erasing the click track, and may have to rerecord this one from scratch. We'll see about fixing this song a little, or maybe rerecord it, and I'll be sure to get you in on the next cd release, whenever it may be. Thanx!
B.Sabbath- Yeah, it's a crazy cool song from the album "Ziggy Stardust", with lots of the drama that 70's music is famous for. It's a fun and challenging song to play. I may work on it further, as yet tbd.
JR- Yeah, the 388,... well,... it is what you think, but it's not the precursor to the Portastudio. The Portastudio line was already established when the 388 was designed, but it was Tascam's only reel-8 track Portastudio ever, and Tascam's only 1/4" 8-track. They wouldn't dare call it a "Portastudio", being so damn heavy, so the named it the "Studio 8". Yeah man, the 388 is a great unit, with a primo 8x8x2 mixer with 3-band parametric EQ, 2 effects sends and tons of I/O. The recorder can record up to 8 simultaneously. The 388 is a great unit. I like using mine a lot.
All you guys, thanx for listening!
