The not fountain head
Hey there all...

Bought this small wooden box with two knobs, three switches, two RCA ins, and four RCA outs while thrifting...

Box reads (sorry no pix), Realistic Four Channel Synthesizer QV-3...

From left to right:
Knob 1 = Blend
Switch 1 = Quatravox/Stereo
Switch 2 = Surround-A/Surround-B
Switch 3 = Rear/Out
Knob 2 = Rear Level

Whelp... I did a lil research (not much.. too tired)... Looks like it's a device to "split" stereo to Quadraphonic... Any other tips/info? Also, since I haven't had the time to test it, is there any way I might use this to "creatively" in my input or processing signal chain (I read somewhere a snippet about it having a reverb quality to it)?

Thanks peeps... :)

My old 70's board had quadraphonic mixing capabilities. I think it was a type of surround sound that really did not get off the ground... or they may have used it for movies; nonetheless, it was a useless feature for me.
