Fostex VF-16 vs. Roland VS1680?

What are some of the pluses and minuses of each? Which would best suit recording a traditional three piece band(drums, bass, guitar/vox) in both live type(all tracks simultaneously) and studio type(each track individually) settings?

blakpuc - here's a thread I trawled up in the Other Equipment forum using the search facility:

It mentions the Fostex, and others. There are other threads which mentioned the Fostex which came up in the search, too. You'll have to do your own legwork to get those, though.
