fostex r8 rubber help!!!!

hey guys, looking to find rubber parts for my fostex r-8. of course it breaks down just as i got a working mixer and new mics together. but i still love the thing and i'm looking to see where to find a suitable replacement for the belts, pinch rollers, etc. any guys have an idea? i do know these things are very hard to find now, so anything you can throw my way would be appreciated. thanks

I think people make third-party belts, but I couldn't say who.
For the pinch roller, send it to Terry's Rubber Rollers and he can rebuild it for you.
 
aw man... I have an R8. They like to break down. It's basically what they do.
 
I'd just google for those parts... I used to have a Fostex 80 (same thing as R8)... beautiful sound... especially with Basf SM468!
Anyway, I've seen some websites that do sell Fostex parts, keep in mind that you can also use Model 80 parts (I'm pretty sure you can).

They have the pinch roller for 1800 yen. According to xe.com that's $15.

I second that. The guy is absolutely the best, better than a new one and quick turnaround time.
