Fostex R8 query

Hi - 8 track 1/4" isn't a format that I was that interested in (apologies to all the 388 owners out there), and I was hoping to get an MSR-16 and/or TSR-8 one day, but I just feel I *need* to bid on this:

What do I need to know about this Fostex?

Well I would say atleast he is honest enough to tell the truth about the condition of the unit.
I have had 4 of these and still own one that has only had maybe 10 songs recorded on that I bought new about 13 years ago.
I like these machines and they can sound pretty good in the right hands.
But I think unless I needed a parts unit to fix another I would pass on this one. It might go cheap but why not find another R8 that has not been used in what he calls a busy studio?
THese machines are plentyful but like he said parts can be a problem and the R8 is not a big heavy duty unit.
Save your money and find a good one.
