Well, one of my fostex e16's solenoids (supply one) is stuck. I wonder is there any way to fix it somehow, or should I be looking for replacement? And what it could be replaced with? (I mean, I tried to spot original one, but nothing comes up on eBay... But there are some solenoids for Tascam)
Any ideas?

Can't speak directly to Fostex.

On a Tascam, the solenoids will often become stuck and gummed up from the deterioration of a flat rubber washer. If the solenoid is removed & the offending gooey rubber removed & cleaned up, the solenoid can be reassembled and remounted and will work properly. The rubber washer was mostly a mechanical damper to minimize the metal on metal clacking noise that the solenoid produces when activated. Without the washer the solenoid will be louder, but functionally the same. I suppose you could find a similar rubber washer at a hardware store to replace the original one.
:spank::eek:;)
