Fostex E-2

My dad stumbled across this Fostex E-2. Not sure who or where it came from, but he's graciously letting me have it.

I know very little about it and have no paperwork. I also am in need of NAB hub adapters. I do know it's a 1/4" half track that will run at 7.5/15 ips. Not really sure what the third meter for "cue" is all about, but time and experimentation will tell.

Anyone have any experience with one of these?

While the E2 is a two-track recorder, the third meter is for the third track, which is typically used for timecode, most often smpte. This allows you to syncronize external devices to the tape deck's audio, using something that can read/write smpte to that track.
