SPINSTERWUN,

I just wonder, I was pleasantly surprised to see results when applied Acid loop routine to acoustic instrument sample,
most of the time perfect match.

So can you tell me, since this new SF7 has Acid built in, is this full function Acid, or you still need extra separate Acid to obtain all it can do?

This one has all what I need, just want to know what exactly alone version of Acid offer more in resources compared to this onboard SF7 version?

1. No
2. Yes
3. You can download the demo version of Acid Pro 4.0

spin

I will test the demo,

I wonder will it be integrated as such inside SF7?

besides all the other points made you can set it to record at a lower bit rate... just a reminder ;)

you can right click on channels in acid and there is an option

'edit in soundforge'

and then if you save it with the same name it changes in your project in acid, since it is just drawing from the wav files.

i am biased since i use it, but i like acid and have tried almost everything else except pro tools :p

Absolutely, fantastic and simple in right sense of the word.
If only someone told me that for direct line recording ACID is much better then SF.

Unlike general description of drive size availability while recording in SF, Acid shows exactly down to every Meg. how much is left on each drive. And I just started. :)
