Thanks Rob , I do still plan to get a DMP-3 too in a couple of weeks as this would be ideal for my guitar to get a nice fat sound but yesterday I went out yesterday and finally purchased the Focusrite Twintrak pro and I am very happy with out, a vey good clean sound and the stereo compression is great , I also brought another SE Electronics 2200A so I can stereo record my Tanglwood jumbo guitar.I had a friend come round who is at music collage and he tweaked around a bit, we did'nt have a lot of time as we started late last night but he wrote these lovely jazz chords and I messed about with a bit of vocals , and in that short space of time , the sound was incredible, the Focusrite pre's are excellent .
I am planning to do an accoustic CD with just vocals and guitars and throw in a few harmonies and maybe some light percussion. and the foucsrite would be ideal for that the only pity is that my DP-01FX only has two inputs that you can record simaltaneusly.
