Fl 9

Hey guys, So, Im back once again. But this time, I have some programs with me. I just purchased the FL 9 XXL Production Series to make beats or maybe help with my lyrics? But then again, I have Reaper, so probably just to make beats. Unless FL 9 is better? Not sure. But anyways, I was wondering can you make good beats on FL 9. I've watched some vids on Youtube on making beats but they aren't that good at explaining. Like, I don't own a keyboard or anything, but I might need to purchase one eventually. That's only if I go big in the beats situation. But, does anyone know any site that provides more sounds like kicks or drums for FL 9? If so, can you please list them. And try and make them free. Thanks.
 
FL is the easiest program I've ever used for sequencing, however their in house sounds aren't great. Ultimately though, it depends on what sounds you're going for. If it were me, I'd look at getting some vst's with the sounds you're looking for, and use FL strictly as the sequencer. Can you give some clips to show your music? We may be able to give some good vst choices. Cheers,

ATM, I currently have no music atm. I'm an upcoming artist just trying to learn the whole game first. But mainly, it's going to be hip hop beats. If that helps? Lol, if it doesn't, well. Man, I don't know. Haha. I'll just keep reading and watching vids. Thanks though!
