I don't have much new to add but more reinforcement of what others have said. The mix is great, the lead guitar IS ridiculously quiet, etc. The only things I would add, and this is purely stylistic advice, is a female harmony on the chorus to thicken things up a bit.
Also, after listening to it a second time, I felt like the voice wasn't passionate enough for such an emotional subject. IF this project is totally wrapped up lock and key, it's stands well as it is. If you feel like fudging with it a little though, I would give a little more emotional vocal performance just to see how that fits.
A very good effort.
