First recording

Howdy folks, I've been lurking around this site for a while now, and I just wanted to say hey. I recently recorded a band and they have their tune up at MP3.com.

It was just a live recording off the floor pre-mixed and all, nothing special. I don't plan on doing this often, but they just wanted something done quickly while I work on their album.

Any feedback would be appreciated, but it was a live recording, and I have zero recording experience.

Most people wont waste their time at mp3.com with the whole sign up thing.Nowhereradio.com is a good place to put songs up and people can listen to the songs without having to give their life history.This is the sign up page that people have to go through to listen to a song at mp3.com:

Interesting song,I found the busy first part to be lacking a "fullness" for lack of a better word,although this works for me at the break at 1:22 maybe this could be handled with EQ,or maybe I'm all wet.
Nice structure.

They're not bad at all. It's pretty hard recording straight to two track, getting a decent mix on the fly. It sounds like a recording of a band practice. Definately usefull to get a direction from the band you intend on doing a full out tracking session on.
