So, I've always been an avid (pun definitely intended) Pro Tools user. I've liked the program, it's always seemed user friendly and easy to me, and I've just enjoyed using it.
Recently, however, I bought a new MacBook Pro (my old one being a 4 year old PowerBook G4) and figured out that I could not use my Digi 002 with Pro Tools 7.1 in Leopard (I had Tiger on my G4). So, not wanting to buy a new interface, or pay to upgrade when I shouldn't have to, I just purchased Logic Studio because i've heard good things and have had a chance to play with it a lot seeing as how I work at Apple, haha.
So I just imported some audio files from an old session I had in Pro Tools, and i'll tell ya.. I really like the results. Logic Pro has so much good stuff included with it.
This is an EXTREMELY old recording, maybe 3 years old. I didn't include the vocals, and I think the guitar tracks were rough takes, not the final ones, but I enjoy the mix. It's dirty as far as editing noise, beginning is silent for a little, and it cuts out abruptly at the end (still getting used to Logic Pro's audio editor -- I liked PT's better!)
I was just curious what you guys thought! Let me know.
Thank you,
Adam
