firewire card for focuserite saffire le

hello folks, i am planning to purchase a focusrite saffire le but i have no firewire card on my pc. i was wondering if anybody could recommend a firewire card that would be ideal for the saffire le?

Anything with a TI chipset ought to work. For that matter, the Saffire is a BeBoB/AVC device, so it would probably work with pretty much any FireWire card you could buy as long as it isn't one of those crappy USB/FireWire combo cards. :)
 
ALWAYS get a TexasInstruments-chipped card. TI is the gold standard.
Stay away from combo USB/FW cards, they've been known to cause trouble.

Belkin and SIIG make great TI-chipped cards. Check newegg.com
(ALWAYS check the manufacturer's spec sheets to make SURE it's a TI-chip card...)
