Firestudio Mobile not syncing

I'm new here and I need some help with the Firestudio Mobile. I can't get it to sync with my Dell Inspiron 1525. I recently had a Firepod that worked just fine - I scaled down to the FSM and I can't get my computer to successfully add the hardware. Getting the following error.

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I've exhausted my knowledge trying to get it to work. Help!


I've got a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop
Duo Core CPU
T8300 @ 2.40Ghz
2 GB RAM
Using the laptops firewire port to connect.
 
The hardware wizard says it can't find a better match for the FSM than what I have currently installed. The Universal controller though says driver version 0.0.0.0. That doesn't seem right to me. Thanks much for the reply.
 
You need to go the Presonus website and download the drivers. Don't rely on the hardware wizard.

I reinstalled FireStudio One and I have the latest universal control installed. However, when I try to add the FSM using the hardware wizard I get the following message: This device can not start. (Code 10)

I'm about to through this thing through the wall.
 
FYI - So a presonus tech helped me out and it turns out my chipset doesn't work with the FSM. I bought a $20 express card with a TI chipset and firewire port and now it works.
