Fireport with Windows 98se?

I am trying to transfer files from an HD24 to my DAW which runs 98se. I just bought a fireport and noticed that the software only works for Windows XP and 2000. Is there anyway I can still use it with my version of Windows?

In case anyone is wondering, I talked to their tech support and it is not possible to use in win 98se.
