huh???
Honestly, it'd probably be on par with the Firepod.
Frank
Would just the converters be on par with the Firepod or the preamps, also? I would think that the preamps on the A&H would be better than the Firepod.

Oh yeah...the preamps on the A&H will smoke the Firepod pre's, though they weren't *terrible*. They just didn't like to be pushed hard, and they had the usual entry level preamp issues with tubby low end, smokey mids and smeared highs. I've heard worse.

If I went from the direct outs from the A&H into the Firepod it would bypass the firepod pre's. so that I'm getting the most out of my board pre's and I can always turn up the sample rate on the firepod to 96 kHz. I think I'm gonna give it a try and then I can always upgrade converters overtime, I'd like to get a mixer at some point regardless and I've already begun savin up the cheddar for it so I'll let you guys know how it goes if you'd care to hear the result.
One thing though...remember that the line outs on the Firepod don't work when it's linked to a DAW via firewire. That said, I've also heard that there's a firmware fix for that, though I never used mine that way.
Frank
I was able to do that with my FP10... Just assign the outputs in your DAW and you´re set...
EDIT: Either way... check before with Presonus. It never hurts to go to the source...
