All you have is now
The drummer set up the camera occasionally during rehearsals and he posted this on Facebook today.....guess I was around 59 when this was recorded.....

TAE, I love seeing this kind of stuff.

I've got a few pictures and a couple of really rough cassette recordings of our band from back in the early 70s but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!!!) NOBODY had an I-Phone back then. How things have changed!

Yeah it is getting so crazy easy to record ourselves WITH VIDEO....as you know I was one of the Lucky mo fo's that had some very cool peeps who "believed in us" back in the mid 70's. They bought a Sony reel to reel black and white video recording unit and camera to capture the magic. They were a small local lighting company that I had hired for a few shows. They fell in love with us, were sure we were going to make it and actually would come to the practices to know and understand the songs / time the lighting and moods ...when to let the smoke out on the stage..They built their own dry ice smoke machine...They were so cool and really added that extra layer of fun to the Cheap Day Return experience...the video is very low quality as is the sound but I am so grateful that at 72 I can share clips like the one below almost 50 years later.
