Yeah this mix sounds a lot more open to me. Maybe clean up the silence in the stops and you have a great sounding song. What kit is it that you used from EZDrummer? The Nashville add on has a great sounding brush kit.
 
I'm just using EZ basic ... I was thinking that EZ Drums country might work better for this tune. I don't usually play country, but it might be worth it just for the extra sounds. Thanks!
 
Heh... Yeah, dude. This rocks. Quite good on almost all levels. The revised version is much better sounding. One nit I have is the levels seem to fluctuate throughout the song, some places worse than others. It sounds like a compressor pumping from time to time, with a really slow release. Not sure, though. Performance and musicianship is awesome.

I gotta ask... Want real drums? This song would be awesome with an acoustic set backing it. Let me know.

Thanks for mentioning cleaning up the silence ... Not sure why, but it didn't occur to me. I'm learning as I go and this kind of feedback is really helpful!

Thanks for the comment ... I was using a limiter trying to push the volume. I'll adjust
 
Man, I liked this before, and it's even better now. The mix sounds very good to me, and the real drums are so nice in this.

Excellent work, I'd stick a fork in it :)

this is a sweet guitar jam... in the way of production, i can see its a work in progress... i could be wrong, i'm playing it through lap top speakers.. don't know if i agree with that hi hat...just got to the solo... oh yea.... very nice work. i'd like to buy a tele and have that kinda stuff just flow out.... if only lol. good arrangement... ok, its done... hi hat sounds awkward and that ride cymbal is a bit too loud... other than that, nice instrumental.
