Hey everyone,
I was hoping for some input on my current situation in determining what kind of audio interface to get. My main focus is a multi track (preferably 4+ channels) that is reliable and somewhat fast.

Right now im running my mics as well as guitars & amps into my Soundcraft EPM 6 channel mixer. From there, directly RCA into Mixcraft (dont have an interface) I figure I can use the "Inserts" on each channel as outs.

The cheapest solution seems to be the Behringer ADA8000 Ultragain Pro. It is able to handle and send 8 tracks simultaneously through ADAT connections into an ADAT card on the computer. I dont need the pres provided, and i imagine they arent very good anyway.
Looking to spend anywhere below $350
Thoughts?

Hey Jim,
thanks for the suggestion. I was actually looking at the fast track ultra for quite some time. The main thing i was concerned about is the USB out and latency issues.
Definitely an option though. 6 ins and outs is great.

By the time i fork out the cash for an ADAT card, I'll probably end up spending as much as I would on the M Audio than the $200 ADA 8000
