Well, I finally took the plunge and ordered sonar 4 se direct from cakewalk last week as well as the sonar 4 power book... and it should get here today!
so i thought id tell everyone about it lol.
i will say that cakewalk was great to work with... got the software shipped out right away, and it was really nice getting a great discount for owning cakewalk pro audio 9.
Oh, and i was almost going to get the producer edition for the extra effects as well as the video thumbnail (thinkin about doing some film audio just for fun) but... i was kind of low on money. if i want to upgrade to it, i think itll actually be cheaper than just buying the pe in the first place.
initially, with my 'project studio' i wanted to spend most all my money on buying new mics and a nice audio card etc... but lately... ive been able to get good audio recorded but now i just want the process to go smoother... so ive finally invested in some good software... got a dvd burner... soon another HDD to have separate drives for o/s and audio... and coming soon is a rackmount case and a headphone mixer. wow i dont have this much money to spend.
anyways, ill probably ask a bunch of questions about it after i get it, so... better watch out!
