Don't ever give up! When I was 28, (1988), I had two kids and soon had one more; I gave up on Music and sold all of my gear because my resources and responsiblities were required elsewhere. I didn't play for 13 years and did all of the things I was supposed to do; and don't regret if for a minute.
When my oldest son turned about 16, he showed interest in the old acoustic I kept laying around and then it was off to the races - that was back in 2001.
Since then, I've found myself very fortunate to have the resources to resume persuing my dream and now build this. I know I'll never fill a 50,000 seat stadium and be the rockstar I wanted to be, but I'm doing what I love and know that in due time, and with patience, I'll have fun doing it. Like the night in 2003 when I played in the band Y&T; 15 years after I sold off all my gear...
Don't give up!
