THis is a band from Louisville Ky called My Finest Hour. Recorded them in June.
Quick rundown:
C4's on overheads, md441 on snare, e609 in kick
cant remember what was on the guitars
Bass was direct into RNP
Vocals were U195 into RNP into RNC...
Once again, its squashed to death.

Shit, I meant e602 in the kick. e609s and 504's on the toms. MIght have had an MD421 on the floor tom. Probably did actually.
My weak point is conversion and clocking, followed by preamps. I had to sell the good preamps, and it made somewhat of a difference. Sigh.

I like it a lot, it's a very full mix. Drums sound very good and the vocal sit well. I think you could bring up the solo a bit, though.

Great job, tubedude!

I like it... 2 thumbs up.... it had a nice beat and I could dance to it.... :D

I like a bit more 'verb on the drums, but then I'm stuck in the 80's....

Vocals are good.... he's got a good voice for this song...

The first solo was a little lacking... it didn't really take off for me. The second one was nice....

Overall, really good!!! Thanks!!

wow very nice recording !
i love the sound of that snare, you could even bring it up a bit i think,
but thats me, i don't like loud hihats, but do like loud snares

and how long did you record on this one song ?

Thanks guys!

Earworm- I think we spent 14 hours on a 4 song project getting it recorded and mixed. So I would say about 3-4 hours.

good work tube dude!
Only thing i wasnt feelin was the loud hi hats.
