Filters!

Anyone here tried the new Akai MFC42 filter? I'm looking for a way to really screw things up (in a good way) in my tracks. I've checked the stats and reviews on the Sherman Filterbank, but was a bit disappointed that it's only got a mono input (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). And it's a bit pricey for me.

Other suggestions? I want analog, not software. Stereo would be nice. I think Mutron (?) has something out that I don't quite remember.

The guy that makes these sherman filters lives half an hour from my home!!

Here's some more options: electrix has a filter. And if you're into electronics you can give the oakleysound filtrex a go soon. (http://www.oakleysound.com )

And offcourse you can use any modular system and make your own stereo filter with the right modules; but that'll cost you more then these...
