Hi everyone,

I write songs and play some keyboard. Recently got the trial for Adobe Audition 3.0, because I would like to create music for my songs and since it's my first time doing this kind of thing and I am not great at computers, there are a lot of things I haven't been able to figure out or get the answers for.
If you can help me answer some of these questions I would greatly appreciate it.

1. I recorded the song in a small digital recorder and I was hoping there might be a way to convert it into a MIDI file or something else in order to be able to create the music for it, is such thing possible?
2. Will Adobe Audition be a good software for this, meaning creating music for songs or is one of the other software like Cakewalk or PG Music Power better?
3. If I can't make a digital WAV file into MIDI in order to create the music, what exactly do you recommend I do to make the music without using all the instruments and record vocals? In other words, how do I get the music in there first so that later I can record the vocals? or can I do it all at the same time?
4. When they say on the website I can record it first, what kind of recorder do I need?
5. What is the easiest way to start doing this? I feel lost!

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give me!!

Hi and thanks for your relpies.

My keyboard is a Casio WK 3000. It has a lot of features, but I have no idea how to use them and I am not a great player, so I was kind of hoping a computere software would make the music for me.
