Okay this is my first song that I've ever shared publicly (save for a few close friends ). This is a Beatles cover of "And Your Bird Can Sing". The song has NO eq, NO effects and NO compression, so any feedback is definitely appreciated. My gear:

- Rhythm guitar: Rickenbacker copy
- Bass guitar : Hofner copy (Jay Turser)
- Lead guitars : Ephiphone Casino
- Drums: Pearl Masters Series

Played all the instruments myself.

I'm really struggling with the compression thing and sometimes the EQ because what I end up with is not what it sounds like initially.

You can find the MP3 at:

Thanks!

You forgot to add "no vocals".....Anyway I always thought this tune was one of George H. highlights-and you did a nice job with those harmonies for sure. I listened on computer speakers so I can't say much about the sound, but the drums kinda sounded just there-I guess kind of like the original?

not bad.........performance wise, it is pretty solid........some eq could help bring out the subtleties more, but without vocals, you won't run into as many problems.......i never thought i needed eq until i started doing vocals, then after i used it more, i couldn't believe i hadn't done it before........also, i don't think you need much compression, maybe a little on the lead guitar part, rhythm sounds fit......the bass sounds very beatlesish too .........good start
