I miss the audio pane. I realize the pane in Sonar works fine but its a little more techy than PA9. I guess I got handy with an axe and the scalpel takes a bit more study.

"Audio Pane"? What is that? Did I miss a feature in PA9?

hell, I couldnt remember what to call it. Its the wav edit window, theres an icon for it.

One thing that I missed was the Audio View, but now that I'm used to zooming in, it's no problem. Acutally I like it a lot better! :)
It's this one?

I think it's just a habbit. If you've never seen the function (if you started with Sonar) you'd never think of it as an option... But sometimes I miss the audio-view myself. Then I just open it in SoundForge and edit there. It's easy as heck! :)

First, I miss full MIDI suport like in CWPA. SONAR is MIDI looser, esp on MIDI routing issue & drivers. 2nd, I miss the audio view. 3rd, I miss da Cakewalk's classic left pannel tracks view. Not minimized/maximized/restore view, where you must restore each tracks, once you change the zoom level. 4th, I miss the low lattency recording (my SONAR does higher lattency). 5th, I miss the name CAKEWALK.
Go back if I have more...

...and yeah, do you remember when you installed Win XP ? there's an option to select the way you want it to looks like . Classic Windows view, or Newer "Aquatic" XP view. Why don't they make same option in SONAR ? Classic Cakewalk Pro Audio view or new SONAR view... ;)
