favorite mp3 hosting service?

forgive me if this has been covered before, but I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite mp3 hosting service is?

..as a side topic-

Which service has connected you with the most people & opportunities? clearly one can go balls out promoting themselves using all the tools these services offer, but let's say you don't feel like paying what amounts to a payola scam or other "parternship" deals many of these services offer? Let's say you want to retain primary control, yet leverage these services to provide easy online access to your content with minimal or no cost? Has anyone found a good tradeoff?

A few thoughts:

www.mp3.com, like it or not, is far far and away the largest marketplace and for that reason alone has advantages. Over 150,000 artists are signed up. It provides the greatest opportunity for exposure and to meet other artists.

www.artistlaunch.com is my favorite. It has the right attitude, and is by and for musicians. Also, it promotes internet radio shows very effectively, an area which I think has promise.

www.nowhereradio.com is a newcomer that is completely dedicated to helping the artist do whatever he/she wants to do.
