Ok so I'd like to get some pedals for my bass rig. Nothing too pro just fun bass pedals that you enjoy. Any recommendations?
I disapprove of Behringer's reverse-engineering business practice. Good engineers went through a lot of hard work to make that SansAmp a great product. Behringer just rips off their design, AS THEY DO MOST OF THEIR PRODUCTS, and sells them for less, because they barely did any work and certainly no actual R&D to develop their products.
I'd rather put my honest money into an honest product, and support those who deserve it.
And some of my worst enemies have been Behringers.
Think of it this way.
You write a song, with a great riff. Your friend hears you playing that riff. He didn't create it, but he watched you play it, and copied you. He goes and writes a song with that same riff, gets successful, gets rich from that riff. You didn't record, publish and claim rights to that song in time, so you have no legal stance, and your friend gets off scott free.
Legally, it can happen.
Morally, it shouldn't.
How would that make you feel? How would it feel if you busted ass as a musician, and someone ripped you off?
How would it feel if you busted ass as an electronics designer, and someone ripped you off?
How would it feel if you busted ass as an amplifier designer, and someone ripped you off?
How would it feel if you busted ass as a luthier, and someone ripped you off?
