Farfisa grounding

I picked up this Farfisa console organ last year and I noticed that is lacked a grounding plug. It *was* a three prong plug, but some previous owner must of somehow taken it off. Should this be a big concern about damaging the organ?

The organ also buzzes when the volume pedal is shifted up. It's not really bothersome, but would the grounding pin missing contribute to that? Or does it just buzz anyway (not to mention there is a light stand next to it!).

Why even risk it??? Go to your local hardware store and buy a replacement plug-end. If a product is designed to operate on 3 prongs, it is generally unsafe to run without the 3rd prong (Most 2 prong devices use a fused circuit design which interupts all power flow through a device in the event of a malfunction, whereas a 3 prong device will still most likely have such internal protection, it necassary to have a ground prong because not all current can be effectively controlled by the fuses). It's a quick, cheap fix that will ensure you don't become the "Third prong".
