The Model 10 was noisy I understand, and not all that powerful as far as features go...

I'd be putting together an Ampex eye candy rig at far less the cost before even thinking about that Tascam array...and the decks would sound a lot better IMHO...

Came up again, Sydney, Australia. Tascam Model 70 for $600AU... so about $550US. Better deal... can't really take advantage of it as I'm in melbourne and not in the mood for a 12 hour drive... plus it wouldn't even fit in my car.
