Fading out the end of a song

Can anyone tell me how to fade the end of a song without ending it abruptly in Sonar 4

Not too familiar with Sonar 4 but I'm guessing you should use the tool that allows dynamic drawings on the tracks. Draw it to however long or short you want it.

You can either hold your cursor at the top of the audio track at the end. and a little fade icon will appear then you can drag it out. Or you can save it as a stereo track and do the same for an even fade. A more difficult option is to take a Volume Envelope and set a point at your current track volume then one at the end of the track at - infinity dB.
