So guys i purshased ez drummer lite but when i record the virtual set there is just one track recording the whole set. No way to mix each part of the set separatedly (snare, kick, cymbals) . Is there any way to mix it?
In fact, it would be just like recording the whole set with just one mic.

As far as I know, EZD Lite spits out only one stereo track. You should be able to mix it within the VST, it has a mixer section.

Looking at the specs for both Studio One Artist and EZDrummer Lite, it seems both are very limited with what they can do. You might consider upgrading both products. You'll find a lot more joy with the full version of EZD and you'll REALLY appreciate being able to use 3rd party VST's with your DAW program. (For me, that's a must, I would not want to use only the VSTs supplied by the programmer!!)

I have the full version of EZ Drummer (it was $60 for digital download with full license).

When I drop a loop into a session it comes in as a single stereo track. However, if you're looking at the UI for EZD, there is a small button in the lower left hand side that opens up a mixer. You'll have faders for the different drums as well as a room mic and reverb levels. It works great.

As for upgrading software, going from Studio One Artist to Professional is $200. That would give you the full big mamma jamma version of Studio One, complete with the mastering suite. When I updated from ProTools 8LE to PT10 it was double that. A drummer friend of mine just picked up S1Pro so I'll be updating my S1A to S1Pro in the next few weeks.

I hope this helps
