EZ drummer...help!

hello,

i am new to this forum, and i am hoping for some help. i currently use a boss 1600cd for all my music. i want to change my drums to ez drummer on my pc, and export my drum track to my boss. HOWEVER, i step write custom parts. WHAT SEQUENCER, with step writing capabilities, is best for use with ez drummer? what do you guys all use for this task?

Check out the Toontrack website for Toontrack Solo (free) and EZPlayer Pro. ($50). I do all my editing in Cubase. Do you have a copy of some kind of DAW program? Most of them will do what you need.

well, a friend of mine has cubase ai 4...i tried installing on my pc but it had problems. asked to plug in my usb device (?) i am assuming it wants the yamaha kx 25 keyboard that went with it, but does that mean i cant install the program without the keyboard?

I think ai 4 only works with the keyboard it comes with and was a joint release with Yamaha and Steinberg...download Reaper...you can use it fully functioned and pay for a license later if it works for you

Yeah, AI 4 is solely for Yamaha products. You need the keyboard.

If you don't have your own copy (no stealing or hacking, right?) then try n-track. It's free and it has a midi editor.
