Exporting MIDI from Fruity Loops

well guys, I found one way to do it - Moskus, the article was helpful.

to export a midi part from the step sequencer piano roll...

1. open piano roll for the part you want to export
2. save as a score file (.fsc)
3. create a new channel with the 'Midi Out' generator
4. open piano roll for this channel, open the score file (notes will appear)
5. file > export > midi file

I was able to open the resulting midi file in sonar - the notes were there. Putting patterns into the fruity playlist had no effect. The exported sequence is only as long as the piano roll pattern in the step sequencer. This works well enough to move my bass part from fruity into cakewalk.
